While planning your wedding, you’ve inevitably come across stunning images of perfect weddings, worthy of the greatest magazines. Everything is in its place : the colours, the poses…

And yet, the smiles look forced, the story frozen. The setting is beautiful, but the narrative lifeless.

A wedding doesn’t need to be perfect. Getting married is not about performing a play written in advance, line by line, perfectly rehearsed. We get married to laugh, to cry, to love, and most of the time all at once.

The truth is, it’s by truly living your wedding the way you want it that you’ll create your best memories. And that I’ll be able to capture the most beautiful images for you. Maybe not the ones from magazines, but the ones of actual reals moments that are so much more powerful.

Your partner’s smile before the yes. Your dad’s tear. Your best friends’ laughter.

The way i do wedding photography is simple: letting you enjoy, feel, live. Being present to guide you, without ever imposing anything, without creating false moments. Not forcing events, or reproducing trendy styles for the sake of it. Being there — a quiet, attentive observer, in the right place at the right moment, to capture every fragment of life.

From my very first weddings in 2018, I chose film photography as my unique way of telling stories.

Not to follow a trend, but simply because I love photographing this way — without a screen, truly in the moment, fully living the day alongside the couples I work with.

Film photography has a unique form of letting go that I hope you’ll get to experience on your wedding day: a kind of detachment that forces you to follow the flow of events, completely in the moment, frame after frame.

To this day, I’m still filled with wonder every time I open that first message from the lab containing the photos from a wedding I’ve captured: there is always in the images a certain “je ne sais quoi” : something unique and inimitable that only film can produce. Beyond everything that can be written or said about analog photography, it’s truly for that feeling that I work on film.

Much like vinyl enthusiasts, I’m ready to defend film against the tide of rational and scientific arguments claiming it’s time to move on: choosing film is not rational — it’s poetic, chemical, unique.

So, as long as there are couples who feel the same way I do — that film photography at a wedding just looks incredibly good — I’ll keep shooting on film.

Your Story told

30 to 45 days after the day, you receive your images in an online gallery, your photo book, your contact sheets (and a few surprises).

NNo. I have never lost a single film image in 10 years. My cameras are serviced every season, and every moment is captured on two different rolls of film. I work with a professional laboratory that supports numerous wedding photographers around the world.

Yes. Depending on the package chosen, the ratio of film to digital images varies, making it possible to include film photography even within more affordable packages..

On average, a full day gallery contains between 700 and 1,000 images. I set neither a minimum nor a maximum — my goal is to create a coherent narrative of your day, but there are always enough images. Depending on the package chosen, a greater or lesser proportion of the images will be shot on film.

I offer film video coverage in Super 8. Depending on your package, and to best cover your day, I may be accompanied by a second photographer for combined photo and video services..

One to one and a half years in advance for full coverage, which gives us time to carry out your engagement session. At least 3 months in advance for your civil ceremony.
